Discover# 2: K.Flay

 

Kristine Meredith Flaherty or better known by her stage name K.Flay is about to be the favorite daughter of Wilmette, Illinois as her albums climb the stairs of billboard's rap and heatseekers albums with "Life as a Dog"(2014) and "It's strange"(2015). Now K.Flay is making her way to the stars with her new album "Everywhere is Somewhere" which was released on the 7th of April. The lyrics show the honesty of her feelings and attracts you to relate and sympathize to her as she often talks about her parents' breakup and being in the center of it all had some strong impacts on her but worry not, it's not all dark and sad, the strong lyrics and beat made songs such as "Blood in the Cut" one of the best songs in the soundtrack of xXx Return of Xander Cage and that isn't all as "High Enough" got us high on the beat and the fine lyrics, hold on we're not done yet the next song is our favorite for sure as it talks about feeling more comfortable in the darkness and being triggered by light and eventually describes where the world is going in a cynical way and that is something to appreciate about "Black Wave". This is it for us, but we'll leave you to get a chance and enjoy the rest of the album.
